Her latest workout DVD, "Dance With Julianne: Just Dance" is her second -- the first was "Cardio Ballroom," which, obviously, was based on ballroom dancing moves. "Just Dance" isn't ballroom based at all -- the moves have more of a hip-hop or jazz vibe to them, something that allows you (and Hough) to move a bit more freely and have a lot of fun with it.
The video is broken down into three dance routines -- Work It, Flaunt It and Pump It. There's also a brief warm-up, cooldown and seven-minute dance lesson to help you learn the moves, bringing the video's total time to 46 minutes.
Level of Difficulty
Beginner, in terms of fitness level, but in terms of the dance moves, perhaps intermediate.
Next-Day Soreness
Very little.
Who's It For?
Fans of Hough will enjoy working out with her, and anybody who wants to learn some sexy moves in the privacy of her own living room will certainly like these routines.
Likes
It would be hard not to like Hough -- she seems like someone who would be a lot of fun to go out dancing with. (You know, as long as you're totally secure and won't be intimidated by her completely perfect figure and amazing hair.) She has a super-perky personality, and that shines in this DVD -- I think because she's truly having a great time.
The dances themselves were fast paced and fun. They're formatted so that you learn a move and add it on to what you know, meaning you're never overwhelmed with learning too many things at once. Each of the sections got my heart rate up a decent amount, but at no point was I gasping for air.
Dislikes
My only complaint is that the music was quite low during some of the portions, making it unnecessarily difficult to stay on beat without staring at the screen. And while not a dislike, goo.gl/mDLUU , really, I want to point out that you do travel with some of the moves, so you'll get more out of it if you clear a fairly large space for your workout.
Bottom Line
This is a fun, upbeat workout that gets you shaking your hips and tossing your hair from side to side. I might not bust out any of the specific dances when I go out this weekend, but I've already caught myself doing some of the moves while listening to music. Like many dance videos, the workout is what you make of it -- you can get sweaty and out of breath or just focus on learning the moves.

After some initial drama early on Thursday evening, word came down that jury deliberations had stopped after seven hours. The jury informed Judge Cleland that they had not reached a verdict, but summoned the members of the court around 8:30 p.m. ET to ask for further review of Mike McQueary's testimony.
Judge John Cleland indicated that a review of McQueary's testimony would last close to two hours, so he called it a night and put the court in recess until 9 a.m. on Friday. The jury, however, continued deliberations even though it was clear a verdict would not come down Thursday night.
In addition to McQueary's testimony, the jury also asked to review the testimony of Dr. Dranov -- the close family friend of McQueary. Dranov testified about what McQueary told him after the assistant coach allegedly witnessed Jerry Sandusky raping a boy in the showers of the Lasch Building. Dranov's testimony lasted about 20 minutes.
